I'll admit, I made assumptions, Thought I knew just who you were, Skulls and roses, form not function, Cruel laugh, cruella furs, Bought the lie that you were selling, Sounds like you bought mine as well, The thorns grew up whilst we were sleeping Just like in that fairytale, Mirror mirror on the wall, I don't think you, tell the truth at all, Fair is foul and foul is fair, And even the evil queen's got a heart somewhere, You the prince, and I the pauper, Fit the roles, and play them well, We both bit the poisoned apple, We both have a tale to tell, Found each other in the forest, Stumbling over paths we knew, The spell will likely break at midnight, But for now, I’ll stay with you, Mirror mirror on the wall, I don't think you, tell the truth at all, Fair is foul and foul is fair, And even the evil queen's got a heart somewhere, There’s no knight in shining armour, Comes to save the wicked Queen, But what if we could change the story, Tell me then, what would that mean, Mirror mirror on the wall, I don't think you, tell the truth at all, Fair is foul and foul is fair, And even the evil queen's got a heart somewhere,

My friends I’ve been a wandering for nigh on 30 years, I’ve been through dungeons, castles, got my share of souvenirs, I’ve looted all the corpses of my long forgotten friends, And I think it's time that my adventuring should end, So, Take me back to giant spider mountain, Where the zombie goblins, are toiling in the sun, Take me back to giant spider mountain, And let me join the zombies when I’m done, When I’m done, when I’m done, Let me join the zombies when I’m done, When I’m done, when I’m done, Let me join the zombies when I’m done, For Giant Spider mountain, is where I was born and bread, A place so full of peace and joy even when you are dead The zombies are all so polite, the grass is always green, And honestly, there’s not a giant spider to be seen, So, chorus The settlers who built our town, they were a little strange, The thought that skulls and midnight black were really all the range, There’s gargoyles on the parapets, and skeletons, and ghouls, But everyone has fun as long as you obey the rules… Take me back to giant spider mountain, Where the zombie goblins, are toiling in the sun, Take me back to giant spider mountain, And let me join the zombies when I’m done, When I’m done, when I’m done, Let me join the zombies when I’m done, When I’m done, when I’m done, Let me join the zombies when I’m done,

You were all angles and edges, A princess, who never felt like one, You were a tangle of anger, You wanted to fit in but you didn't belong, And you were better than all of us, in the end, And can you blame me for wanting to see, What it would be like to be the person, You wanted me to be, And for a moment we had everything, In the moment that you let me in, You were a serious creature, Every mockery an insult to your pride, But when you fought back it was fireworks, I tasted all the wrath you held inside, You were a fool and a wise man, You were ice and, you were fire, You were a clash of the colours, So much pain so much desire, Chorus And you believed you were unlovable, But you demanded to be loved, You were innocent and terrible, Both the falcon and the dove,
4.
You breathed your life into me, And you breathed in all your flaws, You demanded that I tried so hard, To be loved and adored, Yet you complained when I consumed you, So we could achieve our goals, I can’t help that I outgrew you, Can’t help that you lost control, And you wore me like a mask, And you fit the mask so well, And you let me feel heaven, And you dragged me through hell, And now I’m trapped inside the pages of your pretending, Asking why I couldn’t have a happy ending, You told me not to fall in love, And still you let me fall, And then you made me walk away, Do you have no heart at all? It’s not my fault I cried your tears, Wrapped my love around your heart, You chose to help me rise, so, And you let me fall apart, And you wore me like a mask, And you fit the mask so well, And you let me feel heaven, And you dragged me through hell, And now I’m trapped inside the pages of your pretending, Asking why I couldn’t have a happy ending, And now you’re standing over me, As I lay pale on the floor, Struck me down without a reason, Don't you tell me you were bored, I did everything you wanted, Clawed my way up to the top, We could have had the things we dreamt of, Why did you make me stop, And you wore me like a mask, And you fit the mask so well, And you let me feel heaven, And you dragged me through hell, And now I’m trapped inside the pages of your pretending, Asking why I couldn’t have a happy ending,

What a pity it is to tease me or try me for to sing When it does not lay in my power for to do any such thing, But since that you have teased me so, I'll try what I can do, And when I come to the chorus, why you must bawl out too, Why you must bawl out too. It's of a cook I fell in love and the truth I don't deny. For why a cook should have her choice I'll tell you the reason why, Because she has plenty of mince pies, plum pudding and roast beef And when my belly was empty she gave to me relief, She gave to me relief. She sent me an invitation some supper for to take, I kindly did accept it all for my belly's sake; And after supper was over, of the cupboard I got the keys, One pocket I crammed with butter and the other I stuffed with cheese, And the other I stuffed with cheese. And supper being over about a half an hour or more, When the master smelling of my cheese came tapping at the door, And I not knowing where to hide up the chimney I did hide And there I sat quite at my ease like a sweep exalted high, Like a sweep exalted high. I hadn't been long there sitting, sitting at my ease When the fire began to melt my butter, likewise to toast my cheese, And every drop that fell in the fire it caused the fire to flare And the old man looked up the chimney and he swore that Satan was there, He swore that Satan was there. Then up to the chimney top he got and down some water poured, And I came tumbling after my butter and cheese and all; But I'm safe down from the chimney now with a smut and a greasy face And out of the street door I nimbly ran and down the street I was chased, And down the street I was chased. The dogs did bark, the children screamed, up flew the windows all, And every soul cried out 'Well done' as loud as they could bawl; So to make an end to my ditty, boys, I hope I arn't kept you long, So we'll wish success to the chorus and sing another good song, And sing another good song.

Sky 03:17
The house is too large without you, Like I could get lost in the walls, The cities to loud, and the dances to fast, And the buildings are too tall, The sky is too big for me, I need you here, like I never thought I would, And I'm wishing that you could see, Just how I feel but I don't think that you should, And the whole world is smiling at me, Oh they think i'm the belle of the ball, A cinderella fairy tale's a precarious thing, I've got everything and nothing at all, The sky is too big for me, I need you here, like I never thought I would, And I'm wishing that you could see, Just how I feel but I don't think that you should, I thought I wanted to be flying, Now I'm here it feels like falling, You're the only thing that's keeping me off the ground, I should not have done this too you, It's too late now, what can I do I should tell you, but how would that sound? And why should you believe it, a second time around? The sky is too big for me, I need you here, like I never thought I would, And I'm wishing that you could see, Just how I feel but I don't think that you should,

Skin 02:53
I am your precious puppet, your tiny wooden queen, You whisper me your stories and your promises and dreams, I sit upon your hand, my living breathing throne, And you tell me with your eyes that you are mine and mine alone. But what if I had skin, how would we begin? What if these lips were real, if these fingers could feel, If I could be like you, what would you do? If I had a heart to fill, would you love me still? Your voice it cuts through all the strings, so radiant so clear, You shine for me so brightly, all the others dissapear, But then you leave to live the real life I cannot share, You don a mask I do not own, I cannot have you there. But what if I had skin, how would we begin? What if these lips were real, if these fingers could feel, If I could be like you, what would you do? If I had a heart to fill, would you love me still? I feel so young and awkward like, a maid, of just sixteen, Yet I'm the strong, the old one, why so inbetween, I know just how this play should end, Its played 1000 times, But humans never learn the script, you might forget your lines, But what if I had skin, how would we begin? What if these lips were real, if these fingers could feel, If I could be like you, what would you do? If I had a heart to fill, would you love me still?

She came to us from a far off land, Escaped from the grip of her oppressors hand, She was filled with righteous flames, She would cleanse the world of all its shame, She saw the world in a different light, And all it took was a dagger in the night, To make things right. She believed she was justice, She believed that he was a monster, She was the judge and the jury, And she was the executioner, And all it took was a dagger in the night, To make things right. X2 There was a man, and he oppressed the poor, it was all legal but what’s a law? A crutch that supported a man so cruel, why should she care for these unjust rules, But it was not the law she had to fight, And all it took was a dagger in the night To make things right. She believed she was justice, She believed that he was a monster, She was the judge and the jury, And she was the executioner, And all it took was a dagger in the night, To make things right. X2 A young man came to the cities doors, Believed her tales, believed her war, He is a good man, and a little unsure, Murdering and killing what good is it for? But still, the young man understood her plight, That all it took was a dagger in the night To make things right, She believed she was justice, He believed that she was a monster, She was the judge and the jury, And she was the executioner, And all it took was a dagger in the night, To make things right. X2 She killed a man, for little in the middle of the bar, The young man wondered was this going too far, Was the woman a hero, the saviour of the town, Or a madwoman, someone needed to take down? He began to see things in a different light, And all it took was a dagger in the night To make things right. She believed she was justice, He believed that she was a monster, She was the judge and the jury, But he was the executioner, And all it took was a dagger in the night, To make things right. X2 He believed he was justice, He believed that she was a monster, He was the judge and the jury, And he was the executioner, And all it took was a dagger in the night, To make things right. X2

Lady Hands 01:58
I’m gonna rub my lady hands all over your things, And not in the way that you’d like, I’m gonna take your TV shows, and your favorite films, Cause it’s finally Ladies Night, We’re gonna bust ghosts, Just like we’re busting through that glass ceiling, We’re gonna be centre stage, Giving little girls something to believe in, We’re gonna use the force, Though I’ll note historically we always have, We’re gonna be the heroes, And if you don’t like it that’s too bad, Chorus We’re gonna carry swords, Not just stand to one side and and scream, We’re gonna do the science too, Cuz there’s gonna be more than one of us on a team, We’re gonna have a point, And not just be there for the hero to kiss, Your whining’s getting old, Along with sexist tropes that no-one’s gonna miss, Chorus We’re why Star Trek didn’t die, We’re why it had a season three, You think that we don’t have a place? Go and read yourself some nerd history, Chorus And if you think for a second that, A shape shifting alien, Who, let’s all remember, never started as an alien, Who's story’s changed more often than, Donald Trump's Opinion, Couldn’t possibly ever, shape shift into a woman, Then I have a question about why your complaining, Is it really ‘cause of canon, or your “fear for the ratings”, I’d rather you admit, you’re a sexist little git, Than listen to anymore of your shit, Chorus X2

White picket fence, A tidy lawn, Yes that’s the house, Where the changeling child was born, Blond coifed hair, A lipstick smile, A perfect wife, With an un-holy child, But the changeling child, Just wants that family, And the changeling child, Doesn’t see that she’s different from you and me, And the changeling child, she’s running wild, she’s running wild, Oh oh oh, she’s running wild, Sharp dark eyes, Hair made of storms, Full set of teeth, From the minute she was born, She’s sharp as knives, But she’s too strange, Her mother sighs, Called into school again, But the changeling child, Just wants to make some friends, And the changeling child, Keeps making the same mistakes again, And the changeling child, she’s running wild, she’s running wild, Oh oh oh, she’s running wild, One day she’ll learn, She’ll understand, She’ll walk away, Broken heart in her hand, Find the other fay, Learn how to smile, But she won’t forget, That sad and lonley little child, Cause the changeling child, Just wanted that family, And the changeling child, Doesn’t see that she’s different from you and me, And the changeling child, she’s running wild, she’s running wild, Oh oh oh, she’s running wild,

It's of a pretty fair maid in London did dwell, For wit and for beauty there was none could her excel. To her master and her mistress she served seven years, And what followed after you quickly shall hear. She put her box upon her head and ganged along, The first that she met was a surly looking man, He said my pretty fair made why are you going this way, I will show you a nearer way across the country, He took her by the hand and he led her to a lane, And said my pretty fair made I mean to tell you plain, Deliver up your money without fear of strife, Or else this very moment I shall take away your life, The tears from her eyes like a fountain did flow, Oh where shall I wander or whither shall I go, And while this young fellow was feeling for his knife, This beautiful damsel she took away his life, She put her box upon her head and ganged along, The next that she met was a noble looking man, He said my pretty fair maid why are you going so late, And what was the noise that I heard at yonder gate, The box upon your head to yourself it don't belong, To your master or your mistress you've done something wrong, To my master or my mistress I've done nothing ill, But I feel in my heart it's a man I have killed, She took him by the hand and she led him to the place, Where that surly looking fellow lay bleeding on his face, He had a loaded pistol some powder and some shots, A knife and a whistle a robbery to call, She put the whistle to her mouth and blew it loud and shrill, And four tall young fellows came tramping down the hill, And the gentleman shot one of them whose name was peter lee, And the beautiful young damsel she shot the other three.

City Lights 03:33
If I could have, only one more chance, To see the city lights, Reflecting in your eyes, What wouldn’t I give to to go back and say, That you should walk away, Leave me to my pain, Cause you were bright white, sunlight, And now you’re my darkest night, You were snow before the first step, And now you’re the rain, now you’re the rain, Everybody loved you, everyone was charmed, Your innocence your simple smile, It had us all disarmed, I should have know, I should have seen, The danger you were in, But I pretended not to know, That was my biggest sin, Chorus I let you join my wild plans, saw fire in your eyes, Pretended to believe, That somehow everything was fine, My arrogance, my self-believe, Let me thought I could protect, But I was wrong and you are lost, A mistake I can’t forget, Chorus My anger stalks these empty streets, Ignites these empty bones, Though who I’m angry at, Sometimes I’m not sure that I know, It wasn’t me who struch you down, I didn’t hold the knife, But I might as well have held it, Been the one to take your life, Chorus

Hello! I'm Reesha, I sing songs and accompany them on the guitar with dubious proficiency. Some of them are funny, some of them are depressing. It's a magical mood lottery!
