The streets are paved with myths and,
The bars cast a seductive spell,
They say that if you walk certain streets at night,
You could walk right down into hell,
There’s a mystry on every street corner,
And a singer in every bar,
There’s rumours in every flavour,
And if you’re clever you’ll become a star,
You’re in the city of Sirens,
Where the gods never sleep,
Where the neon lights shine just a little too bright,
And there’s a whisper down every darkened street,
In the City of Sirens,
Where every moments a dream,
Can you keep your head, can you keep your cool,
When nothing’s as it seems?
When nothings as it seems,
There’s a broad knocking at your window,
She says she’s got a secret to tell,
There’s a man with a gun, he’s promising fun,
And everyone’s got something to sell,
There’s a sheen to the streets in the lamplight,
There’s a song going round in your head,
There’s something not right can you feel it,
But there’s nowhere you’d rather be instead,
You’re in the city of Sirens,
Where the gods never sleep,
Where the neon lights shine just a little too bright,
And there’s a whisper down every darkened street,
In the City of Sirens,
Where every moments a dream,
Can you keep your head, can you keep your cool,
When nothing’s as it seems?
When nothings as it seems,
Hello! I'm Reesha, I sing songs and accompany them on the guitar with dubious proficiency. Some of them are funny, some of them are depressing. It's a magical mood lottery!

TTBT has some of my favorite songs written by The Mechs. Iphis is my personal favorite due to its ties with Greek Mythology, but it's definitely an album I have on repeat constantly. yumeinati

This is a great adaptation of Arthuriana and a brilliant narrative album. I love how the queerness of the characters is handled as an integral part of the narrative and plot development without it being the end all be all of the characters themselves. my boy Gawain deserved better though maritarvaniti
